"Overall pretty good stay, my room itself was amazing, one of the nicest I’ve gotten anywhere including in places like Aruba at this price point. Unfortunately it was 105 degrees out so I could only enjoy the pools and stuff to a limited extent since just walking and driving to them made me exhausted due to the extreme heat. The guy tho when I was checking in was very enthusiastic about me coming to having fun, especially as a younger solo traveler paying a higher price point per night, which is uncommon today, he did give me the wrong hours on the breakfast but he did give a good welcome to start off a good impression. The service after that felt a little more robotic but still acceptable. The main reason I’m taking off a star is I found a silverfish on my ceiling above my bed halfway through my stay which I reported to the front desk staff via chat in writing, for a 250-300$ price point I shouldn’t be finding any bugs but the goods still outweighed the bad, however there weren’t any bed bugs. The second part to why I didn’t just overlook this, I wasn’t offered any sort of discount/bonus points for the inconvenience of finding it as a gold elite member, which most Marriotts do issue bonuses if for some reason you run into anything, so that’s where I see this place as falling short. But other than this nothing really that’s of any concern. If you have younger kids stay at the other villas by JW, they have more water stuff over there but this had all you need, although a few more restaurants would be nice. However, for the location there’s no beating the quality of room since you’re within walking distance of high end shops, if it isn’t 110 degrees of course. Definitely going to consider flying in next time for like a week when it gets cooler to give this place another chance since I really liked my room, but I think the bug should be taken a lot more seriously for such a high end property since it indicates moisture issues."

"The staff at the pool and kids center have been great, super nice. The property is beautiful, the only thing I can really complain about is the giant brown bugs we have had in our room on three different nights. I know it probably has something to do with the time of season but those things are huge."

"I would not say it's a beautiful Resort such as if you're in Hawaii, but nonetheless a well-kept resort with its natural landscape and well-kept palm trees. Pool areas always kept clean between adult pool and kids and adult pool which is normally where music and games are played. Rooms are great with nice patios and depending on where your room is nice views of the golf course or on the back side views of the desert landscaping and mountains. Restaurant and Bar great place to vacation and is also used as a timeshare for us."
